Mesotherapy

Have you thought about Mesotherapy? It is a state-of-the-art non-surgical treatment that focuses on problem areas of the body affected by excess weight and cellulite. It is a highly effective body contouring process that is very effective in skin rejuvenation for the face. The treatment involves injections of various FDA approved medications, minerals, and vitamins into the mesoderm – the layer of fat and tissue underneath the skin surface. To ensure optimum effectiveness, the treatment is adjusted to meet the specific requirements of each case. Besides fat and cellulite reduction, Mesotherapy is also used for pain reduction and to treat hair loss.

Mesotherapy, Liposuction, or Bariatric Surgery?

Liposuction produces almost immediate results. Weight loss surgery is recommended for obese people to reduce their weight. Mesotherapy does not replace either of these but has several advantages that make it an option worth serious consideration. In comparison to liposuction, Mesotherapy:

Is almost painless. Liposuction can result in pain after the surgery and during the healing process.

Requires almost no downtime. You will be able to leave the doctor’s office a few minutes after the procedure is completed.

Causes no scarring. There may be slight swelling and bruising in the treated area but that will fade away in a few days.

Bariatric surgery is used; obesity does not respond to other weight and fat loss reduction techniques. However, to qualify for the procedure, a person must reach the desired weight. This requires following a weight loss program, and Mesotherapy could be the right one.

What It Involves

What follows are typical treatment procedures. Dr. Rani will evaluate your case to ensure that what you receive will give you the best results.

Cellulite Reduction: This typically requires 3 to 4 treatments at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks.

Weight Loss/Fat Reduction: 2 to 4 treatments are administered at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks.

Facial Rejuvenation: This is one of the most popular mesotherapy treatments. 4 treatments are typically required at 2 to 3-week intervals.

Lower Blepharoplasty: 1 to 2 treatments are typical. If the second treatment is required, it is usually given after about 6 weeks.
